OUR STORY

A Fusion of Cultures, A Symphony of Flavors

At Le Fleur Rouge, we invite you on a culinary journey where French elegance meets the bold, expressive flavors of China—all set to the rhythm of live jazz. Inspired by the golden era of 1930s Shanghai, our intimate space in Park Slope offers a dining experience that transcends time and borders.

Known as the “Paris of the East” during the early 20th century, Shanghai was a cultural crossroads—where European sophistication and Chinese tradition coexisted in dazzling harmony. Jazz poured out of glamorous nightclubs, French cafés lined the streets of the French Concession, and a vibrant spirit of artistic exchange gave rise to a golden age of music, fashion, and cuisine. At Le Fleur Rouge, we channel this rich history to create a modern-day tribute to that remarkable time and place.

Each dish is thoughtfully crafted, blending traditional French techniques with Chinese ingredients to create a menu that is both nostalgic and inventive. From delicate dim sum to richly layered entrées, every plate tells a story of cultural harmony and culinary artistry.

Step into a moody, transportive space adorned with vintage charm and art deco detail. The atmosphere is elevated by the soulful sounds of live jazz, creating a setting that is both lively and refined. Whether you're savoring a romantic dinner or gathering with friends, Le Fleur Rouge offers an unforgettable evening where music, culture, and cuisine converge.
